Wanted to show you guys the Rainbow Rays crochet cowl pattern I wrote for the August Yarn Crush subscription box! The yarn we used was Mashmellow Rino by Joma Yarn, and it was just so gorgeous that I wanted to keep the pattern nice and simple. If you are interested in purchasing a spare August box, please contact Yarn Crush directly to see about extras. Otherwise, the pattern is also in my Ravelry shop.

That’s beautiful yarn, and your design really makes the most of it. Bonus that it’s a one-skein pattern. Bravo, Twinkie Chan!
Thanks so much, Amy! I was worried that the design was really too simple, but I just got a strong feeling I shouldn’t overcomplicate this one!
Thank youuu!
Hi Twinkie;
This is soooo pretty! It is very different than your usual projects though….
I know, for sure. There are several reasons why that is, but the main one is, I needed to think of a cute project, using just this one skein of yarn that ended up being variegated in color, and that I thought a lot of people would like and use 🙂
Beautiful cowl with really cool yarn! I love the drape of the cowl…sometimes hard to get with crochet. I love all of your patterns!
Thank you, Michelle! <3
Wow! That’s an awesome cowl and you can use any type of variegated yarn of your choice and I wanted to know if you are going to do a video of the pattern. Thanks and don’t forget if you are going to put out the hot dog scarf of your website again. May God bless you and your family family. Ms. Twinkie
I probably wouldn’t do a video as it is a very very simple pattern and quite easy to figure out.
Hi, Twinkie, would like to purchase from Yarn Crush but want to make sure I’m receiving August box. I couldn’t find contact info anywhere on website. Can you help me? Excited to make the cowl!
Hi Lori!
Joanna from Yarn Crush here! Sorry about the trouble finding our contact info (we’re also reachable via our Facebook page and Ravelry group), but I’ll look into making the Contact link on the website more noticeable.
Anyhow, if you sign up now your subscription would start with a September box which ships on Sept. 22. We do have some August boxes left, though! if you’re interested in one send an email to info@yarn-crush.com with the email we can send a PayPal invoice to.
