    My favorite holiday tradition is Family Tip Night. My boyfriend’s whole family go to a restaurant a week before Christmas and ask the owner which of the waiters/waitresses is most in need. We ask to be sit in that person’s section and everyone chips in for a large tip – upwards of $20/person.

  • my birthday! born on 12/25 isn’t always easy, but my mom made sure i wasn’t stiffed in the birthday vs christmas presents fiasco. our christmas supper is always my birthday supper.

    Lots of favorites for me– but one of the best is Christmas morning breakfast–over-nite baked French Toast Casserole, lots of crispy BACON, fresh fruit, & flavored coffee!! Always do the same–but now it’s extra special because most of these treats are rare, due to health issues.     One of my favourite holiday traditions is heading to a small German village called Frankenmuth, Michigan USA. There they have the worlds largest Christmas store called Bronners. My husband and I buy an ornament for each other every year.
    And this year we added one extra ornament for our new baby girl 🙂

    One of my favourite traditions is meeting with my friends at our local Chinese restaurant, having dinner and catching up with everyone. It’s the only time of the year all of us are at home at the same time, so this dinner is something very special to me.
