Hello, I'm Twinkie Chan!
I blog about crocheting, crafting, snacking, & life's hilarious adventures. By day, I work full-time at an arts & crafts education website as an artist coach & content editor. I don't blog as much as I used to, but you'll still find announcements here about new crochet patterns & projects.
July 16-18, 2021 – Camp DHL (Dear Handmade Life) Summit – I’ll be teaching FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME my bacon & egg scarf in a 90 minute workshop. Click here for info & to sign up!
August 2021: I’ll be the featured Artist at Jenny Lemons. SF locals should definitely visit and check out the magical shop window I’ll be decorating for the month!
Summer 2020-present: I’m an artist in Intangible – a colorful group fiber arts show in collaboration with Craft Yarn Council at Sweet Tooth Hotel in Dallas, TX. The show is open now! Please go see it if you can!
The ghost containers are my favorite! Somehow I missed that pattern, so I will have to check it out. Thanks for sharing!
I seem to have also left out the mummy mitts pattern. DOH!:P
DO IT!!!!! I loooove wearing your pumpkiny patterns!! Last year I made a thanksgiving headband using your turkey tissue cozy pattern…I wore a turkey leg, potato, carrot, and tomato on my head all day! (And plan to again this year) 😉
I loved making the shoe bows and a mermaid shell purse, too! 🙂 🙂
OMG that mermaid outfit you made is the bomb! *speechless*
Ohh!!!!!!!!! Lovely <3 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YAY!
I love the ribcage-heart idea! I’ll be traveling on Halloween so this would be a good roadtrip crochet–by midnight I’ll be full-spooky 🙂
Thank you for creating such wonderful pieces!
You’re welcome! I sewed mine to an off-the-shoulder shirt, and the crochet really pulled the whole shirt forward with its weight, but I think on a normal shirt, it would be fine 😛
OMG, those clutches are awesome but I love everything! Halloween is my favourite time of year. Thank you for these patterns!
