Hello, I'm Twinkie Chan!
I blog about crocheting, crafting, snacking, & life's hilarious adventures. By day, I work full-time at an arts & crafts education website as an artist coach & content editor. I don't blog as much as I used to, but you'll still find announcements here about new crochet patterns & projects.
July 16-18, 2021 – Camp DHL (Dear Handmade Life) Summit – I’ll be teaching FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME my bacon & egg scarf in a 90 minute workshop. Click here for info & to sign up!
August 2021: I’ll be the featured Artist at Jenny Lemons. SF locals should definitely visit and check out the magical shop window I’ll be decorating for the month!
Summer 2020-present: I’m an artist in Intangible – a colorful group fiber arts show in collaboration with Craft Yarn Council at Sweet Tooth Hotel in Dallas, TX. The show is open now! Please go see it if you can!
YEEEEAAAH! MINE TOO! Favorite part of the year because of all the pastels!
Wow. Look at those scrumptious colors!
Loving the anticipation here. Can’t wait ro see what ya hook up!
I’m drooling over the mint green. That’s my color!
Hei! What’s the brand for this yarn it looks amazing! I’m planning valentine too with a twinkie chan inspired scarf! I’ll post it on the ravelry group page! see you!
The photo is of Red Heart Super Saver. I don’t prefer that brand for scarves, as I find it scratchy, but it came in color I wanted for home decor 🙂
Well the colors lokk perfect! Hope your home decor will look great!
I bought my yarn for my scarf but I had less choice in colors.
Thanks for the info! see you ^^
There’s something about this time of year coming up that makes me love a good pastel! lol
I’d like to know what color of yarn that is too. I want to make a springy colored tablet cover with pom-pom edges.
It’s Red Heart Super Saver. Great for low cost projects, but not my favorite for worn items close to the skin. It’s a bit scratchy.
oops- not color, but brand.
On second thought- yeah the color name too, especially for the coral colored ball.
That color is actually called Light Coral hehe.
yeah … I want to eat that yarn!
I was wanted to know what brand of yarn you get.
