My Q&A and Free Pattern at Snippets Zine!

Cat from Cut Out + Keep asked if I would do a little interview and pattern for the holiday mini version of their online magazine, Snippets, so I said sure!! This is the first pattern I’ve ever posted anywhere, and it’s FREE!! I tried to keep it simple and sweet for the holidays. I hope it’s easy to understand!

I haven’t really had a chance to check out Cut Out + Keep yet, but there are like 30,000 members, and I just got an account. I know you might be thinking, “Oh no, not another online community!” But I think they did such a great job with my Snippets stuff, that I’m curious to find out more about the rest of the site!

How cool, congrats! Great pics of you too!

  • It’s not just “another online community” it’s a cool website where you can make and share craft tutorials and find endless inspiration for DIY projects!

    • I get a lot of invites to things that I never log onto. There’s stuff like Ravelry, punkrockdomestics, Craftster….DiYscene. There’s just a lot! I didn’t mean to sound negative about it or anything. SOrry if I did!

Have you checked out ThreadBanger? They’re pretty popular, and I’d be surprised it you hadn’t!

  • Hehe, you did not seem negative. I just wanted to speak up as a proud member of the website, since many people will be interviewed for Snippets and not even know about Cut Out & Keep! I just wanted to add my two cents to whoever reads this article…sorry for the communication breakdown!

lol, guess I never read too much into it! Selling out of your items is better than selling none! =] How long do you usually spend on making a scarf?
