Superduper Last-minute HOLIDAY GIVEAWAY!!!!

EDIT!!!!!! THIS CONTEST IS CLOSED!!!!!!!! I WILL NO LONGER APPROVE COMMENTS FOR THIS ENTRY. THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING! ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey folks,
I’ve always wanted to do a giveaway, but I’ve been so crazy busy that I never have anything left to giveaway!
I took the opportunity after BazaarBizarre to put together a lil sumthinsumthin for all of you who have supported me and read my blog!

This giveaway package includes red and white striped peppermint wristwarmers/fingerless gloves, a red and white striped peppermint candy-heart necklace, and a red and wdhite swirled lollipop brooch.

TO ENTER:

Just leave a comment on my blog, telling me what your most favorite holiday treat is! (and make sure to enter your email address in the email address field so I know how to contact you!)

DEADLINE:

This is super quick! I will choose a winner with a random-number-generator on Monday, December 21st, at noon, PST. This way, I can hopefully have time to contact the winner, and have the winner send me his/her mailing address, and get the package out before the post office closes on the same day. For people in the U.S., the package should arrive before Xmas (according to the USPS….). Sorry to my international readers! I just didn’t get my act together in time! I will obviously still send the package to an international winner, but the package will probably definitely not arrive in time for Xmas.

Okay, this is my first giveaway at my own blog, so if I left anything out or messed something up…please let me know! ๐Ÿ˜›

xoxo

My favorite holiday treat is breakfast on X-mas morning. We have homemade cheesey bisquits with steak and eggs, and to drink cold duck. It has been a family tradition since I was a little girl and seeing how this will probably be my dad’s last christmas, getting to share this with him makes this extra special this year. I hope everyone has a happy holiday!

I don’t know if I can pick just one holiday treat… my mom makes a “famous” family recipe for Chocolate Mousse thats chock full of raw eggs. A dessert is always better if it’s a little bit dangerous, you know.

You’re awesome TwinkieChan! My favorite holiday treat is a combination of not being at work, spending hilarious time with family in a warm climate, and eating lots of things cheesy. My mom makes this dip that is 1/2 mayonnaise and 1/2 jalapenos with some fat sprinkled on top then we dip fritos in it. YUMMERS!

Hope you have an excellent holiday!

  • Stephie

    says:

My most favorite holiday treat is my Gramma’s recipe of homemade Peppermint Cheesecake. Its probably where I got my mint obsession, I always have to have either a mint or gum in my mouth, because 1. I love the taste and 2. I’m always afraid my breath will stink! But I’ve never had any complaints–so I guess I’m doing well. ๐Ÿ˜€ Anyhoo, it always gets me more in the Christmas spirit because my job in the cake-making-process is to drizzle the mint topping on top, and make it all prettylike. Always a fun occasion.

  • Hollie

    says:

White chocolate peppermint bark is by far the most superior holiday treat in my opinion. It is delicious and now I want some! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • Stavroula

Well since we approaching Christmas, i ll pick our super yummy melomakarona.. haha yeh i know, wtf is this ha? Well im greek and thats the most popular and everyones fav treat for christmas.

    it looks like this: http://www.explorecrete.com/traditions/images/melomakarona.jpg

Its like a biscuit with cinnamon, orange, honey, walnuts and many many other ingredients. Usually all women of the family (regardless the age) are gathering 5 days before christmas and start making em, its almost like a ritual and pretty much fun.

My friend who lives in SoCal just loves em, i send him every year a huge box full of em and he just devours em haha ๐Ÿ™‚

PS>If you want i can send you some ๐Ÿ˜›

  • HannMay

    says:

My Fabourite holiday treat would have to be the triffle that my mum and I make. It has become a tradition to make it only at christams time, so while also being super tasty in never fails in reminding me of the big famiy get together that also happens at that time too.

  • Angie

    says:

Monkey bread is my favorite! It’s definitely a food you eat with your friends–you pick pieces off with your fingers. I think sharing it like that makes it even better for the holidays ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s pieces of biscuit dough shook up in a ziploc bag of cinnamon sugar, layered on top of each other in a Bundt pan, topped with a brown sugar & butter mixture, and baked. When it’s done cooling, you flip it over onto a plate and all the syrup just melts everywhere~

It’s so sweet and delicious! Sadly, hardly anyone I know has heard of it…

  • Kaylin

    says:

Oooooh butterhorns. These little rolled sugar things with nuts inside. They’re so sweet and nutty and good. I love them so much! They were a key part of my childhood holiday.
